1. Father's Day Car Show, Hyannis

The Father’s Day Car Show in Hyannis is the grandfather of Cape Cod Father's Day events. From 8:30 - 2:00 pm, Main Street in Hyannis closes to vehicle traffic for a classic car show with a good dose of street fair fun thrown into the mix. Dad can ogle more than 350 classic cars ranging from hot rods to cars worthy of Bond, James Bond. The shops and restaurants in Hyannis are open for the day, and there are food trucks and street vendors. The Father's Day Car Show is the largest one-day event on Cape Cod.

2. Get Golfing

With 27 public courses and 15 private ones, there is a golf course on Cape Cod to fit any golfer’s skill level. Just a couple of towns away from Endless Dunes is The Captains golf course with not one, but two par-72 courses, both of which are in exceptional condition. The onsite Freemans Grill, Brewster’s best restaurant according to TripAdvisor, is perfect for a beer and a burger afterward.

3. Biking & Hiking

Even the fittest father will run out of steam long before he runs out of hiking and biking trails on Cape Cod to explore. The Cape Cod Rail Trail, 25+ miles of paved bikeway, is literally in our backyard. You can even borrow a bike from us. For hiking, Cape Cod National Seashore's Nauset Marsh Trail, located behind Salt Pond Visitor Center, is a must.

4. Charter Fishing

Many towns on Cape Cod offer charter fishing, but few are quite as robust as the Rock Harbor charter fishing fleet in Orleans. Grab the kids and make it family day and spend a half-day or full day out on the water trying to land a big one. Whether you reel one in or not, a day at sea is always time well spent. 508-255-9757

5. Catch an Orleans Firebirds Game

The Cape Cod Baseball League is the best collegiate summer league in the country. Seriously. In any given MLB game, roughly 17% of the players on the field came up through the Cape league. Less than 10 minutes away from Endless Dunes is Eldredge Park, home to the Orleans Firebirds. Not only are the Firebirds regular contenders in the hotly contested summer playoff games, Eldredge Park is considered one of the prettiest ballfields within the league. Even Sports Illustrated thinks so. This is such a great activity for families on Cape Cod!
